Sandbox & Simulation
Test a session's strategies and triggers without a casino: pick outcomes by hand or run Monte Carlo simulations.
Two Ways to Test
Every session and template has two testing tools, on every plan and without a casino:
- Sandbox: you pick each outcome. Click a pocket and watch every strategy's bets, progression step, balance, and triggers react exactly as they would live, because the sandbox runs the same engine as real play.
- Simulation (Monte Carlo): the app plays many random sessions with your configuration and shows the spread of results, so you can see how a setup behaves over hundreds of spins instead of the handful you clicked.
Strategy and progression pages have their own simulators as well; see Strategy and Progression Simulators.
Sandbox
The Sandbox tab sits next to Session Info on the Current Session page, on template pages, and on shared session links. It needs at least one strategy attached to the session.
The layout:
- Outcome board, betting board, and racetrack: click a pocket on any of them to play a round with that result. There is no random spin button; the sandbox is for exploring specific sequences
- History bar: every round you have played. Click an earlier round to jump back to it, then click a pocket to branch from there. Reset clears the history
- Session card: the session's P/L (net profit or loss across all strategies), Peak profit, Max drawdown, Wagered (total staked), Max bet (the largest single round), the current win or loss Streak with the longest losing streak so far, and wins, losses, and pushes
- Strategies card: a table with each strategy's step and P/L, the strategy's net profit or loss since it was last enabled, with an enabled or disabled dot. Click a row to expand its step, base unit, P/L, and win, loss, and push counts
- Triggers card: a Status table with every trigger and its outcome on the round you are viewing (Fired, Not met, Already met, and so on). Click a row to expand the reason and each condition's values. Below it, a Log table of every trigger that fired in the sandbox: the round, the trigger with its condition, and the action. Hover the check or cross icon for why it fired or failed
- Strategy Triggers card: the strategy triggers attached to each strategy
- Optimize chips toggle at the top, the same setting as on the session
Rules worth knowing:
- On an open session the sandbox starts from the session's current state, so progression steps and cooldowns match where you are in real play. Templates and shared sessions start fresh from step 1
- Nothing you click in the sandbox touches the real session's rounds or statistics
- Changing a base unit, enabling or disabling a strategy, or editing triggers clears the sandbox history
- The wheel follows the session's provider, and switches to the American board when a strategy bets on 00
- If a trigger closes the session in the sandbox, further clicks do nothing until you reset
- Template sandboxes do not run strategy triggers
Simulation
The Simulation tab (labeled Monte Carlo on templates) plays 50 sessions of 1000 rounds each with the session's strategies, base units, and session triggers, then shows the distribution. It runs in your browser and starts as soon as you open the tab.
- Starting Balance is the only input (default 1000). Change it and press Recalc
- Balance, Cumulative PnL, and Drop from Peak charts show the 5th percentile, median, and 95th percentile bands across runs
- Aggregate Stats: average final balance and P/L, positive runs, bankrupt runs, runs stopped by a trigger, the average round at which those happened, the worst loss from the starting balance, the average drop from peak, and win rate
- A per-run table lists final balance, peak, drop from peak, valley, longest win and loss streaks, the highest progression step reached, and the outcome: Profit, Loss, Bankrupt, Stopped, or Neutral
Caveats:
- Every run starts fresh, not from where the real session stands
- Session and strategy triggers are both included
- A run is bankrupt when its balance reaches zero. "Stopped" means a trigger closed the session or stopped autoplay. The stop applies after the spin that crossed the threshold, so a run can finish below it by up to one bet. Drop from peak is measured from the run's highest balance, so it can exceed a stop loss set on session P/L
- Runs are randomized each time, so two Recalcs give slightly different numbers
- Shared session links have no Simulation tab
Strategy and Progression Simulators
- Strategy form and strategy page: the Bet templates card has a live board visualizer. Click pockets to play rounds, step through them with the round arrows, and read Step, Bets, Multiplier, Total Bet, P/L, Peak Profit, Peak DD, and Win Rate. Strategy triggers are simulated. A progression must be selected first. The same visualizer appears on shared strategy pages and in the embed widget
- Progression form: a Simulation preview runs 100 sessions of 500 rounds on a European wheel with a chosen Pockets covered and Base unit, and charts P&L, bet size, or drawdown as lines or bands. Recalculate reruns it
- Progressions list: Open Monte Carlo simulation runs the same preview for any saved progression, and Open progression calculator builds a sequence from Pockets covered, Minimum ROI, Levels to calculate, and First level total bet, with a Copy progression button. See Progressions
Best Practices
- Sandbox a strategy through the sequence you fear most (a long losing run) and check Max bet on the Session card against the table maximum
- Use the Simulation's 5th percentile line, not the median, to size your bankroll
- Add your stop conditions as triggers and watch them fire in the sandbox Log before you rely on them live
