The desktop app wraps the web app and adds the Play tab: integrated casino access and automated bet placement.
The desktop app is a thin wrapper around the web app: it loads spinstrategy.app and adds a casino view, bet placement, and a few native touches. Three builds exist:
Signed-in users also find the same files under Dashboard → Download in the sidebar. There is no .deb, no Windows installer, and no Intel Mac build.
.exe, nothing to install. Double-click it. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, click More info → Run anyway..dmg and drag SpinStrategy to Applications. On first launch macOS blocks the app as unidentified: open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the SpinStrategy notice, click Open Anyway, then confirm with Open. Only needed once..AppImage executable (chmod +x SpinStrategy-1.2.3.AppImage, using the version you downloaded) and run it.The desktop app includes everything you need: no browser extension or extra software.
The app opens straight on the sign-in page. Sign in with your normal SpinStrategy account. From there you see your web account directly, so there is nothing to sync or set up.
Everything you can do on the web works the same in the app. The one difference is the Play tab of the current session, which is desktop-only. On the web it shows "Desktop App Required".
The streamer mode toggle in the dashboard header blurs casino logos, game art, and casino names in the casino view so your stream does not show branding.

The menu bar holds these under Casino and Navigate. On Windows and Linux the app uses a frameless window, so the menu opens from the menu button in the title bar. The title bar also has back and forward buttons and follows the web app's light or dark theme.
Every session and template has a Sandbox tab (click-to-simulate on a board that mirrors the real engine) and a Simulation tab (Monte Carlo runs). Both work on the web too, on every plan. They are documented on the Sandbox & Simulation page.

Shuffle's Original Roulette is Shuffle's own game, not a Pragmatic table. Detection happens from the casino URL when the table loads. A session is locked to the provider it was first played on; to switch providers, start a new session.

The app checks for a new version silently at startup and then every hour. You can also check by hand from Help → Check for Updates… (title-bar menu button on Windows and Linux).
The app cannot download or install anything itself. When an update is available it opens this page in your system browser; download the new build from the Download section above and replace the old file. If your build is older than the minimum supported version, the app shows Update Required, opens this page, and quits.
Changes you make are saved to your account and show up on other devices when you refocus or reload the page. There is no live cross-device push.
